WOGM Together We Can is a federally recognized 501c(3) Nonprofit Corporation in the Greater Houston Area, organized exclusively for the advancement of charitable, religious, educational, and literacy purposes, to lessen the burdens of government and neighborhood tensions, and to provide relief to the lower socioeconomic population. The Nonprofit Organization has a specific goal to provide the necessary resources to substantially improve lives of individuals who have been severely impacted by fewer opportunities and benefits due to their socioeconomic classes, specific demographic locations, and inadequate resources.
To serve and provide relief to the unsheltered, elderly, and disabled. To promote excellence, change lives, empower the youth, and improve quality of life for the lower socioeconomic population in poverty-stricken communities of Northeast Houston.
WOGM Together We Can was originally formed May 14, 2022 as Women Of God Ministries (a women’s support group organized by a group of women interested in helping other women cope with day-to-day struggles and challenges in life). Their focus was later directed to the needs of the community, when they began to explore a variety of ways to support a broader range of people in the lower socioeconomic classes. As they began to work toward their goal, it led to an opportunity of making a difference in their community by distributing Personal Care Packages to the unsheltered population living on the streets of Northeast Houston. Shortly after, WOGM Together We Can was formed and federally recognized as a 501c(3) Nonprofit Corporation, exclusively designed to support the needs of the lower socioeconomic communities.
